Automata by Laurie Murrell

I started making automata four years ago after retiring. This has been such a positive experience for me. Initially I had worked as an engineer before managing a family business for forty years. Automata making brings out such a range of skills and I love the problem solving which takes me back to my engineering days. I enjoy discovering the creativity needed to tell a story with the mix of skills necessary to be able to present these ideas. The joy of being in the workshop has really changed my daily life.
