Metal spinning workshop

A few weeks ago I travelled up to Halifax to do a metal spinning workshop with Terry Tynan- who's a real expert in the field.  He makes some amazing Art Deco style light fittings on the lathe.  Have a look at his website www.terrytynan.com for a feast of beautifully designed and crafted lights.  I'm learning about spinning copper bowls from sheet copper and am designing and developing my own vessel forms.  However, it is not an easy process - particularly with copper, which needs annealing (softening) maybe several times in the production of one bowl.  I aim to start simple and develop gradually more difficult shapes.
